About this poster:
There is an illegal immigrant problem. But who is to blame? It's not the Mexicans sneaking over the border. How can they be blamed for pursuing liberty and opportunity for their families?
The blame falls on American liberals for insisting the old assimilationist model be dismantled. It is they who preach diversity and multiculturalism to the immigrant community and insist that assimilation is not required of them, as it was of their eighteenth, nineteenth, and twentieth century predecessors. For them, judging between two cultures is an anathema. After all, isn't your way of doing things just as good as mine?
But such relative nonsense is not what made America great. What made America great are its beliefs in liberty, private property, free enterprise, individual rights, and limited constitutional government. A culture that stresses anything else is inferior. A multiracial society is great, a multicultural one is not. And here the use of the word culture does not refer to the foods one eats or the clothes one wears, but the ideas and values their society operates on.
